Floorplan Text is a free drafting utility. You may use, copy, and modify the software under its MIT license.

Your responsibility

Exports reproduce the coordinates and scale you enter. You are responsible for checking dimensions, printer settings, site conditions, permissions, and applicable rules before relying on a drawing.

Not professional advice

The tool does not check structure, accessibility, utilities, fire safety, planning rules, or building codes. It is not a substitute for a qualified architect, engineer, surveyor, contractor, or local authority.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for losses arising from its use.

Your content

You retain rights to the plan text and drawings you create. We do not receive them unless you choose to share them outside this application.
